    Somatic Therapy

    We now recognise that trauma is not just a mental experience; it resides deep within our bodies, woven into the very fabric of our physical being. This understanding opens up a path to healing that goes beyond traditional talk therapy.

    The term “somatic” comes from the Greek word “soma,” which means “the body as perceived from within.” Therefore, somatic coaching emphasises the embodied experience, recognising that our physical sensations, emotions, and movements hold valuable insights and information.

    As a somatic coach and bodyworker, my mission is to help you reconnect with your body in a profound and meaningful way. I want to support you in rediscovering your vitality, finding a sense of grounding, and experiencing deep relaxation. Together, we’ll explore this journey through heartfelt conversations and a variety of practices tailored to your needs, along with take-home exercises that encourage ongoing growth and awareness.

    Throughout this journey, it's common for past traumas to emerge. When they do, we approach them with care and compassion, working through these experiences together. It’s essential to acknowledge that no trauma is too small or too large; each one shapes our ability to fully inhabit our bodies and live authentically. My aim is to create a safe and nurturing space where you can gently process these experiences, releasing what no longer serves you and embracing a more embodied, vibrant life.

    Addressing trauma is an essential part of the journey, rather than a final destination. As we engage with our past pain while remaining anchored in the present, we start to loosen the hold that trauma has on our lives.

    By embracing a distinctive, integrated approach, clients have the flexibility to select from life, career, spiritual, or business coaching, available both in-person and online.

    Based on your individual journey and objectives, clients can also choose to integrate various tools and techniques alongside traditional coaching methods, such as mindfulness, breathwork, emotional freedom techniques, journaling, manifestation, and more.
