Spa Body Wrap Treatments

A body wrap is like a cosy blanket for your skin, designed to nourish, tone, and refresh you from head to toe. Think of it as a spa hug for your body, helping to keep your skin glowing and healthy. People love body wraps for all sorts of reasons, like flushing out toxins, shedding excess fluids, and rejuvenating tired skin.

Each wrap is tailored to specific needs and skin types, offering unique benefits.

Depending on the wrap you choose, you might notice:

  • Reduced inflammation and relief from joint pain

  • Deep skin hydration

  • Skin smoothening and reduction in appearance of cellulite

  • Body toning and slimming (temporary inch loss)

  • Detoxification

  • Relaxed and soothed muscles

What to expect:

  1. Preparation - You'll undress to your underwear in privacy. If the wrap is for firming or weight loss, you have the option to be measured at various points around your body first, too.

  2. Body brushing or exfoliation - You will then be treated to a gentle exfoliation, either dry body brushing which offers the enhancement of stimulating the lymphatic system, or a product based exfoliation such as coconut sea salt scrub. Both offer the benefits:

    • removal of dead skin cells, debris and grease from the skins surface

    • Fresh new cells are exposed, improving the appearance of the skin

    • the blood circulation in the area is mildly stimulated, bringing more oxygen and nutrients to skin cells and improving the skin colour

    • skin moisturisers are more easily absorbed

  3. Body Mask - Once your skin has been prepped, a therapeutic body mask to your torso (front and back) your arms and legs. The content of the mask used depends on the treatment you have chosen. Mud and clay, algae and seaweed, or a firming skin body cream mask.

  4. Body wrap - after applying the mask to most of your body, you will be swaddled/ wrapped in a thickened plastic cling film product.

  5. Relax - you are then covered in towels and blankets and rest for 20 - 30 minutes. in the a calming environment of the therapy room. The heat of the wrap will relax your muscles, open your pores and encourage sweating.

  6. Unwind - You may opt to doze or can request an additional service at this time such as a face and head massage or a calming facial.

  7. Unwrap - after between 20 and 30 minutes, the cling film wrap is removed as is the product.

  8. Massage - You are then treated with a nourishing mini full body moisturising massage with a product of your choosing - oil based or lotion/ cream.

Deep Cleansing Back Treatment

A deep cleansing back treatment, affectionately known as a bacial, is a spa ritual aimed at pampering the often-neglected back. This involves cleansing, exfoliating, toning, a mask and hydrating to tackle clogged pores, spots, back acne, and dryness. Think of it as a facial for your back, giving some love to those hard-to-reach spots.
